Black date rolls

Basic sweet bun Dough Ingredients:) A 330 g high protein flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tbsp milk powder 60 g caster sugar B 1 egg-grade A C-mixed together 120 ml water 10 g instant yeast D 40 g butter Method:)
  1. Combine ingredients a in a mixer.Give it a slight blend before adding in the ingredients B and C.Beat combined ingredients for app. 5 minutes to form a dough.Add in ingredient D and beat dough for a further 5 minutes till dough has a smooth surface.
  2. remove dough and leave it in a big bowl,covered with a piece of damp cloth.proof dough fo about 30-40 minutes.
Black Date Rolls ingredients:) 1 quantity *basic sweet bun dough * For filling: 250 g black date paste some sesame seeds For glazing: 1 egg beaten For topping: Some white sesame seeds. Method:)
  • Scale dough at 60 g portions.Shape them into small balls and rest the ball for 5 minutes.
  • flatten and roll each ball of dough in to a round.Place a little filling ,seal and wrap into a round.Roll flat once more and make several slits.roll up and place in a baking tray.repeat process with the rest of the dough rounds.Cover with damp cloth and leave for 45 minutes to rise for 2nd time.
  • glaze with egg wash and sprinkle top with seasme seeds.Bake in preheated oven at 180 celcius for 12-15 minutes.tray should be placed in the middle rack of the oven.Remove when golden.,cool on wire rack.

    Wah..gebush roti tu kak. Nampak sedapnya black date rolls ni. teringat ada red bean filling lam petiais. Step by step nih. kalu rajin nanti nak try.. :)
